Bob says - the first problem is check to see if WinZip is in the startup folder (start button, then programs, then start up) if it is it needs to be removed. To do this open windows explorer- go to the windows directory, open the folder and then go to the Start Menu folder, open it and go tothe Programs directory, open it and go to the Startup folder and then remove WinZip from this folder, this will stop the program running when you start windows.
The next problem is with your file associations with WinZip, If you look in the options of WinZip and look for an association for .exe and remove the tick and then save it by apply button or clicking ok then you should be able to access your programs again. (you may need to reboot the computer first for it to take effect) If this works please let me know. |
