Free Gift of Salvation

Our only hope is in Christ Jesus. You can’t get to heaven as you are because your sins have separated you from God. Romans 3:23 That's why God sent His only Son to die for the sins of the world, to bridge the gap between God and man. Romans 6:23 If you were "good enough" to go to heaven on your own merit, Jesus' death, burial and resurrection would have been totally unnecessary. Jesus paid the price for yoursins!

Just The Facts:

1. God is the source of a worthwhile life.

2. Your sin, no matter how small, has separated you from God.

3. God made a provision for us through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus. Jesus is the solution to the sin barrier.

4. The only thing God asks you to do is to trust Jesus to forgive your sins and give you a right relationship with God.

What do you need to do?

First, come to the Father, admitting that you are a sinner. This proclaims your need for a Saviour. You can receive Jesus through faith, by prayer right now! Prayer is talking to God. You may want to use this prayer to accept Jesus into your life now:

"Jesus, I admit that I have sinned. Please forgive me and help me. I believe that you have paid the debt for all of my sin. I receive you as my Saviour. Thank you for forgiving my sins and coming into my life as you promised."

Jesus always keeps his promises. He is faithful and true.

Did you ask Jesus into your heart? If so, then the following promises are now true in your life:

1. Jesus came into your life, and He will be there forever. Revelation 3:20; Hebrews13:5

2. All of your sins are now forgiven. Colossians 2:13

3. You have a brand new relationship with God - you are now His child! John 1:12

4. You have become a completely new person inside, and you have a great new life! 2 Corinthians 5:17;1 John 5:11-13

5. You have been set free from yourself so that you can help others. John 8:31-35; Galatians5:13

So, what do you do now?

First, continue to trust Jesus. Once you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour there are a number of things you should want to do. Things that will be very important if you are to develop your relationship with God and your new walk as a Christian.

Here are a few suggestions:

1. Let Him communicate to you, read His Word. 1 Peter 2:2

2. Talk to Him about everything, always. Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Peter 5:7

3. Get together with others who have received Him. Hebrews 10:24-25

4. Tell other people about Him. Acts 1:8 Remembering always to be tactful, loving and kind.

"Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them]."Ezekiel 36:25-27

Don't forget; keep trusting Him through and in all things! Jesus died for you; He asks that you live for Him. Romans 10:13
